Carol Ann Slinker

Carol Ann Slinker, 78, of rural Patoka, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the Ascension St. Vincent Medical Center in Evansville.  She was born in Posey County, IN. on March 16, 1946, to Lucian B. and H. Frances (Kern) Hyatt.

Carol is survived by a son, Jason Slinker (Jamie) of Patoka; grandson, Riley Slinker (Ali) of O’Fallon, MO; sisters, Sandra Nixon of Princeton and Sue Ellen Muncy (Kenny) of Patoka.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 1 until 4 p.m. in the lobby of the Hillside United Methodist Church, 828 W. Archer Rd., Princeton, for a celebration of Carol's life.  There will be a time of visiting with the family from 1until 2:30 p.m. with a memorial service at 2:30 p.m., followed by a time of fellowship and sharing stories of Carol’s life while enjoying light refreshments. The Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with the arrangements and is honored to serve Carol’s family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Gibson County Animal Services, P.O Box 474, Princeton, IN, 47670 or to the Posey County Humane Society, 6500 Leonard Rd. N, Mt. Vernon, IN, 47620.  Envelopes will be available at the church.
