Carole Davidson Obituary

Carole Jane Davidson, 79, of Hazleton, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Deaconess Gibson Hospital in Princeton. She was born November 28, 1942 in Washington to the late Azel and Jewel (Traylor) Miller and married Garry Lee Davidson on December 20, 1959. She was a member of Salem Chapel and worked as a florist at Buehler’s and as a farm wife. Carole enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids often being found watching their ballgames as she was a sports fanatic. Carole had a knack for playing cards and loved playing the piano. She was loved and will be missed.

Carole is survived by her children, Barry Davidson (Cindy) of Hazleton and Julie Bugher (Bob) of Hazleton; grandchildren, John Davidson (Brianne), Joe Davidson (Brittany), Hannah Davidson, Michael Bugher (Ashlyn Anthis), and Jaleigh Bugher-Pheral (Luke Pheral); great-grandchildren, Abigale, Jordyn, Isabella, Ezra, Abrey, Brooklyn, Chase, Cole, Olivia, and Azel; and her special animal companion, her dog Bella.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Colvin Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Gary Arnold. Interment will follow at Davidson Cemetery in Hazleton. A visitation will be held from 4 until 7:00 PM Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at the funeral home.
