Carolyn Deann Lankford

Carolyn Deann Lankford, 75, went to be with her Lord Sunday, January 12, 2025. She passed peacefully at her home in Princeton, Indiana with her family at her side. Carolyn was born in Evansville, Indiana on August 4, 1949 to the late Francis Eugene Talley and Lorene Marie Kleiman and graduated from Mackey High School in 1967. She loved family gatherings, gardening, flowers, and decorating for the holidays. Carolyn was especially proud of her large flower garden behind her home in Princeton, where she worked diligently for over 40 years. She was a member of Hillside United Methodist Church.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 53 years, Stephen Lankford; daughter, Kim Lankford-Gogel (Mark); twin granddaughters, Emma Ray Gogel and Audra Marie Gogel; and son, Kevin Ray Lankford.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, January 17, 2025 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Kevin Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until service time Friday at the funeral home.
