Carolyn Todd Tolbert, age 85, was born October 4, 1934 in Arlington, KY to the late, James and Emma Katherine (Davis) Todd. She went to be with the Lord on May 26, 2020 at 10:17 a.m.
Carolyn worked at Walmart for the past 12 years and formerly worked in the deli at Buy-Low and people called her “Grandma”. She loved her Bunco and Destin, Florida and all of her kids. She loved people!
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William “Buddy” Tolbert; her sons, James and William Burkhart; sons-in-law, Wesley Lawn and Michael Wildt; three sisters, Barbara Reed, Rebecca Williams and Louise Goldman; her step-father, James F. Phillips; and a brother, James F. Phillips Jr.
Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Billie Wildt and Jeannie Lawn; three sons, John (Tammy) Burkhart, Michael Burkhart and Jeffrey Burkhart; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Linda Stewart and Diana (David) Wright.

A Graveside funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton, with Chaplain Therese Hawkins. All friends and family are welcome. Social distancing is encouraged. There will be no visitation. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with the service.
