Christopher Bass Obituary

Christopher Franklin Bass, 49, of Princeton passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville. He was born May 19, 1975 in Covington, Kentucky and served proudly in the United States Air Force from 1994 until 1998. He was a member of Greater Grace Apostolic Church in Oakland City and worked as a team leader in Quality (West) at Toyota Manufacturing. Christopher was known to some of his favorite people as “Poppy”. He loved his family, especially his kids and grandkids. Christopher was devoted to God, as his faith was most important to him. He enjoyed hunting for deer and turkey and fishing for anything that would bite. It didn’t take much to make him happy, he found joy in life’s simple things. Christopher was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather to those who will miss him beyond measure.

Christopher is survived by his wife, Amy (Reece) Bass of Princeton; father and step-mother, Martin Franklin Bass and Barbara of Ohio; children, Amber Fugate (Shelby) of Owensville, Joshua Goosey of Princeton, Adelina Bass of Hawaii, Elizabeth Bass of Hawaii, Joseph Williams (Brittany) of Princeton, and Luke Bass of Heidelberg, Kentucky; grandchildren, Jayden, Patrick, Savannah, Anastasia, Elijah, Theodore, Winter, Moses, Deacon, Rowan, and one on the way; and mother-in-law, Alice Reece of Princeton.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Woody Gene (Baker) Bass.
