Christopher Ziller Obituary

Christopher Shane Ziller, 51, of Princeton, Indiana passed away on August 17th, 2021.  He was born on April 24th, 1970.

Chris graduated from Princeton Community High School, Class of 1988.  In high school he was a tenor in choir and played many leads in musicals.  One of his proudest was Fiddler on the Roof.  He went onto get his Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Southern Indiana.  He taught History at Tecumseh High School, and was great at it.  He made a great impact on many students during these years of teaching.  Chris made kids want to learn about history.  He also coached volleyball and cross country.  Chris loved coaching.   Being a runner himself for many years, Chris was passionate about it, and was so proud when former students said he was the reason they loved running.  One of the proudest moments in his life was when he ran the Boston Marathon in 1997.

Chris collected baseball cards, was a master Lego builder, and loved listening to Marvin Gay.  He loved watching Jeopardy.  He loved it so much, he did a jeopardy show in his history class.  Chris loved all sports, always cheering for the San Diego Chargers and the Chicago Cubs.  Go Cubs!  One of his best memories was watching the Cubs win the world series with his dad in 2016.

Chris was so full of life, stories and laughs.   He has definitely made an impact on everyone he met throughout his life, especially his lifelong friends.  Chris loved his children and was so proud of them.  He loved his family and friends, and was so thankful for the people in his life.

Chris is preceded in death by his Grandparents Silvio and Pauline Ziller, Edward Berkowicz, Lee Torrenga, Richard Lee Aigner and his Dad, Edward Ziller.

Chris is survived by his loving wife Janine; parents, Jerry & Pam Aigner of Boonville, Indiana; Grandmother Helen Aigner of Boonville; daughter, Madison Hundgenn (Bir), sons, Maxwell and Zachary; step-children, Jacob (Rachael), Hayden, Wyatt (Hillary), and Alex; sister, Carra Meuth (Mike) of Boonville; brothers, Jeremy Aigner of Newburgh and Jordan Aigner (Amanda) of Boonville; He was Papa to 4 grandchildren and Uncle Chris to 7 nephews and 2 nieces whom he loved dearly.
