Clovis L. White, 66, better known as “Hillbilly”, of Princeton, passed away with his beloved wife by his side on Monday, November 15, 2021 at The Waters of Princeton. He was born January 5, 1955 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky to the late Franklin and Truly White. He married Janice (McCoy) White on May 27, 2020 and they were blessed with a supportive marriage to one another. Clovis enjoyed mowing lawns and cleaning pools for work, he was also a member of the Baptist faith. He knew how to enjoy life and loved the outdoors; swimming, fishing, and riding bikes. His cats, Momma Diamond and Baby Diamond were some of the loves of his life. Clovis was a good-hearted man and there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
“Hillbilly” is survived by his wife, Janice White of Princeton; daughter, Tavis Mulkins (Keith) of Kentucky; 3 grandchildren, Keilee, Allison and Kaleb Mulkins; siblings-in-law, Roger McCoy, Junior, Nancy, Wanda, Walter, Everette, Jerry, Sharon, Larry, and Gary McCoy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Windell White; and mother and father-in-law, Guss and Gertrude McCoy.
The White family will host a celebration of life from 4 until 8:00 PM Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the American Legion in Princeton.
