Obituary

Danny Ray Bailey, 64, of Princeton passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at home. He was born on September 15, 1956 in Oakland City to Russell and Irmgard (Wagner) Bailey. He served in the United States Army and retired from the Gibson County Highway Department after more than 44 years of employment. He enjoyed playing music, cars and racing, but most of all spending time with his family.

Danny is survived by his wife, Tera Bailey of Princeton; daughters, Dawn Marvel (Brad) of Evansville and Shawn Brown (Casey) of Princeton; son, Daniel Bailey (Kelly) of Francisco; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sisters, Irene McGraven and Susie Bates; and brother, Benny Bailey.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Joann Norris, Nancy Bailey and Renate Titzer.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Ryan Warner officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time, 11:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Francisco Cemetery in Francisco. Military Rites will be provided by the Retired Military Veterans.
