Danny "Boone" White

Danny “Boone” White, 74, of Francisco, IN passed away August 8, 2023 at home surrounded by family. He was born April 14, 1949 in Princeton, IN to the late Earl White and Thelma (Gentry) White. Boone attended Mt. Olympus High School. He worked in the Oil field most of his life with most recently at Wheeler Oil. Boone enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and hunting whatever he could. He liked working on all types of engines. Most importantly he loved spending time with family and friends telling stories and always having something interesting to say.

Boone was preceded in death by his parents; son, Spencer White; and parent-in-laws, Cheesie (Betty) Herrin.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Susie White; children, Larry White and Cameron (Jessica) White; siblings, Deanne (Jim) Akers, Diane Midkiff, Devonna (Auggie) Williams, Carole (Lee) Steele; grandchildren, Carter (Elizabeth Hoppner) White, Tessa White, Ayla White, Cruz Apodaca, and Jaya Wilderman; great-grandchild, Jameson White; siblings-in-law, Janice (Tim) Raibley, Dick Herrin, Jody Herrin, and Judy Herrin; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mt. Olympus. Auggie Williams will be officiating.
