Darald Wayne Earles, 76, of Henderson, KY passed away Monday, December 1, 2025 at St. Anthony Hospice at Deaconess Henderson Hospital. He was born July 4, 1949 in Oakland City, IN to Cecil Albone Earles and Violet Geneva (Ferguson) Earles. Darald graduated from Oakland City High School in 1967. He retired from Terminix after 7 years in sales. Darald married Lawanna (Hollenback) Earles September 6,2015 and was blessed with 10 years of marriage. In his younger years he was a member of the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Darald truly enjoyed Mt. Dew and was known to only drink Mt. Dew. He had a passion for trains and liked watching them, reading about them, and most of all riding them. Darald and his wife completed his bucket list by traveling around many places such as South Carolina, Florida, Hilton Head, Baltimore, Alabama, and many other destinations. He loved traveling and making sure to always take a memorial photo at each destination. Darald is deeply loved and is already missed dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Phillip Earles.
Darald is survived by his wife, Lawanna Earles; children, Wayne Schieve, Jeremy Schieve, Marji Schieve, Billy Earles, Nathaniel Fisher, Brook Madril, and Raymond Green; siblings, David (Oraletta) Earles and Mitchell; sister-in-law, Martha Earles; best friend, Clint Adler; grandchildren, Xavia Smith, McKale Smith, Zaden Smith, and Cody Schieve; great-grandchild, Khelyn Williams; and several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 11 AM CST Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, IN with Pastor Mark Sanders officiating, burial will follow at Montgomery Cemetery in Oakland City. Visitation will be held 2 PM to 6 PM CST Saturday, December 6, 2025 at the funeral home.
