David Raymond Binhack, 66, of Princeton, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at his home with his family by his side. He was born November 19, 1958 in Mt. Carmel, Illinois and worked as a mechanic for Duke Energy for 30 years. David was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and loved animals. He was passionate about woodworking and his family members were all willing recipients of his works of art. He also made many donations of his art to the church. He enjoyed being a homebody when he wasn’t piddling or riding his motorcycle. David was a devoted father to his children and was a wonderful son and husband. He was dearly loved and will be missed beyond measure.
David is survived by his wife of 21 years, Pam (Malenfant) Binhack of Princeton; mother, Magdalen M. (Beuligmann) Johnson of Princeton; children, Michael Binhack of Owensville and Alecia Alqahtani Binhack (Hussain) of Spencer; step-son, Christopher Hall of Charleston, South Carolina; step-grandchildren, Merrick and Genevieve; siblings, Lee Edward Binhack (Marsha), Jeffrey Binhack (Christina), and Elaine Binhack Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Earl Binhack; an infant brother, Dennis Joseph Binhack; maternal grandparents, Gerhard and Josephine Kieffer Beuligmann; and paternal grandparents, Raymond Earl and Anna Marie Binhack.
The funeral mass will be held at 12:30 PM Saturday, February 15, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, officiated by Father Gary Kaiser. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held from 10 until 12:00 Noon at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.
