David W. Bredemeier, 60, of Princeton passed away September 4, 2024 at Heart-to-Heart Hospice. He was born October 18, 1963 at home in Darmstadt, IN. David attended Wood Memorial High School, achieved his bachelor’s degree in psychology, and an associate’s degree in culinary arts. He was of the Catholic faith all of his life. David enjoyed doodling and drawing, playing his guitar, riding Harley’s, and listening to rock and roll. He loved spending time with friends and having a good time.
David was preceded in death by his grandparents that helped raise him, William and Ida Bredemeier; mother, Beverly Bredemeier; uncle, Billy Bredemeier; and brother-in-law, Rodger Catt.
He is survived by his daughters, Meagan (Joseph) Cargal and Melody (Kody) Schurz; grandchildren, Joseph and Leyla Cargal, Jackson and Cali Beier, and Keira and Krislee Schurz; sister, Jamie Catt; honorary brothers, Kurt Bredemeier, Tommy Mauer, and Ronnie Wheeler; and nephews, Jacob and Silas Havens.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 7:30 PM at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Cynthia Betz officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday 4:30 PM until service time at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Colvin Funeral Home to aid in funeral expenses.
