Deborah Sunderman Obituary

 

Deborah Sue Sunderman, 67, of Holland, Michigan, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on March 15, 2021. She was born on August 1, 1953 in Princeton, Indiana to Betty Winingear-Wise and the late Royce Wise. She was a 1972 graduate of Wood Memorial High School. Deborah worked at Potter & Brumfield for 21 years before moving to Holland, Michigan. She was employed by ESPEC Corporation of Hudsonville, Michigan at the time of her passing. Deborah was a gifted artist and loved painting in her spare time. She was an avid gardener and very much enjoyed the outdoors.

She is survived in death by her mother, Betty Wise of Holland, Michigan; children, Lindsey Gatewood of Holland, Michigan and Derrick Gatewood of Princeton, Indiana; granddaughter, Mackenzy Tervoort of Holland, Michigan; and her beloved Maltese, Leo of Holland, Michigan.

A funeral will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Reverend Rick Lance officiating. A walk-through visitation will be held from noon until the service hour on Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will follow the funeral service at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Per state COVID-19 restrictions, seating will be limited, social distancing and face coverings are required.
