Donnie L. Curtis, 56, of Princeton, passed away at his home with his wife Georgia by his side on Monday, February 1, 2021. He was born March 31, 1964 in Evansville, son of Roger Curtis and June (Row) Curtis. He was married April 28, 1996 to his caring wife and they were blessed with 25 years together. Donnie was a factory worker all of his life, working for Tire and Wheel and Midstate Rubber. He enjoyed hunting, NASCAR racing, cooking on the grill, and drinking beer with friends. He was loved and will be missed.
Don is survived by his wife, Georgia Curtis of Princeton; father, Roger Curtis (Barb); siblings, Lisa Rainey (Jerry) and Rocky Curtis (Katrina); aunts, Cheryl Lott (Larry) and Rosie; longtime friend, Dale Clark (Sandy); brothers-in-law, Pat Briggs (Bee), Mike Briggs (Brenda), Bobby Briggs, David Briggs (Lori), and Ron Hartley; sisters-in-law, Marna Miller, Billie Pavey, Liz Ruble (Tom), Vickie McGowan (Charlie), and Flora Briggs; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by loving mother, June Curtis.
A private family funeral service will be held with Pastor Gene Burkhart officiating. A walk-through visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday, February 8, 2021 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Due to state mandated restrictions from COVID-19, gathering sizes are limited to 25 people, facial coverings and social distancing are required.
