Donald “Donnie” Phillips, 65, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville. He was born September 4, 1960 in Princeton to the late John Clayton Phillips and Florence (Shawhan) Phillips. Donnie worked at AES Petersburg Power and Electric as a purchaser for over 20 years. He was a member of the VFW in Princeton and Evansville and some of his greatest joys was caring for his dogs and visiting the horse racetrack. He was loved and will be missed.
Donnie is survived by his significant other, Marla Feulner of Evansville, and his close personal friend, Don Buse.
Along with his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Phillips, and numerous aunts and uncles.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, April 6, 2026 at Decker Cemetery in Patoka. Interment will follow.
