Donna "Dee Dee" (Vore) Reavis

Donna “Dee Dee" (Vore) Reavis, 68, of Chandler, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. She was born July 9, 1955 to the late Glen V. Vore and Donna Dean (Nedlinger) Vore in Princeton. She worked at Wentzel Plastics in Evansville when she could work. Dee was one of a kind, loved frogs and collecting frog mementos and trinkets, and was a good wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She will be remembered not for being the family’s firecracker, but she was the whole stick of dynamite. She was loved dearly and will be missed.

Dee is survived by her husband of 32 years, Larry Edrington of Chandler; son, Cody Reavis and wife, Brooklyn of Winslow; grandchildren, Blayze, Alex, and Owen Reavis; brothers, Rodney Vore of Mesa, Arizona and Kevin Vore and wife, Sharon of Oakland City; sister, Georgiana Mason and husband, Tom of Oakland City; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Lucas Reavis; and siblings, John, Herb, and Robbie Vore.

A memorial celebration of Dee’s life will be held at 2:00 PM (CDT) Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City with Pastor Paul Gray and Pastor Darrell Satterfield officiating. Inurnment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Francisco. Visiting hours will be held from noon until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
