Donnie Wayne Davis

Donnie Wayne Davis, 71, of Patoka passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital surrounded by family. He was born July 5, 1952 to Albert and Laura Ella (Burns) Davis in Princeton, growing up in Francisco. Donnie is a member of Patoka Methodist Church and the Patoka Masonic Lodge 450. He was a Production Supervisor for Jordan Oil Company and later becoming an oil producer and owning Don Davis Enterprises.

Donnie was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; brother, Gene Davis; father-in-law, Robert McCarty; mother-in-law, Maxine McCarty; son, Thomas Kent Davis; brothers and sisters-in-law, John (Karen) Hull and Walt (Jeanette) Dickerson.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patti McCarty Davis; children, Neeley(Sam) Muncy, Daniel (Jason) Davis, Michael Davis and Shellye Davis; grandchildren, Ethan (Hana) Muncy, Eli  (Makenzie) Muncy, Carly Weiss, Devon Davis, and Brooke Davis; great-grandchildren, Luke Muncy and Logan Muncy; siblings, Janice (Red) Lloyd, Tony (Karen) Davis, Rick Davis, Ben (Tammy) Davis, and Greg Davis; nephews, Robbie Hull, RJ Hull, and Laken Hull; nieces, Maxi Bradshaw and Dacia Hull.

At Don’s request, cremation and memorial service will take place 4:30 PM October 29, 2023 at Patoka Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 3:30 PM until the service time at the Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Patoka Methodist Church or Gibson County Animal Services. Envelopes will be available at the church.
