Dorothy M. Hall, 89, of Owensville, formerly of Francisco, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Transcendent Healthcare in Owensville. She was born on June 12, 1931 in Troy, IN to Frank and Anna (Beckman) Linne. She was a former member of the Rebekah Lodge. She had been a proofreader for the Tell City News and worked at General Electric in Tell City. She and her husband, Charles managed the Halls Café in Francisco for many years. She retired as a tester at Potter & Brumfield after 30 years of working there.
Dorothy is survived by her sisters, Rose Williams (Dutch) of Tell City and Betty Sweeney of Cannelton; brother, Henry Linne of Wesley Chapel, FL; very good friend, Maurice Bolin of Francisco; caregiver, Cecelia Brewer of Francisco; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 61 years, Charles Hall in 2012; and brothers, Ray Paul & Walter Linne.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton officiated by Dr. Katheryn Webb. Burial will follow at Francisco Cemetery in Francisco. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. There will be limited seating due to state mandated COVID-19 regulations. Social distancing and masks are required.
