Dorothy (Walker) Shoultz, 96, of Princeton, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024 at RiverOaks Health Campus in Princeton. She was born in Patoka on May 10, 1928 to Rocie and Florence (McRoberts) Walker. She graduated from Mt. Olympus High School and married Bobbie Joe Shoultz on January 14, 1949 at her parents’ home in Patoka. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved spending time with her family. Thursday night suppers with her grandchildren and making her chocolate chip cookies was something she especially loved. Needlepoint and playing the organ were her favorite pastimes and she was the organist at New Life Church of the Nazarene for 65+ years.
Dorothy is survived by her sons, Greg Shoultz (Sheri) of Melbourne, FL, Nick Shoultz (Sandy) of Francisco and Brian Shoultz (Charlotte) of Patoka; 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and a nephew and niece.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; and siblings, Robert “Bob” Walker and Patty Harvey.
A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Shiloh Cemetery in Hazleton with Pastor Donnie Truelock officiating.
