Drake Evan Cloin, 33, of Indianapolis formerly of Princeton passed away unexpectedly December 31, 2023. He was born June 7, 1990 in Cherry Point, NC to Darvin and Shannon Cloin. Drake graduated from Elizabethtown High School in 2008, achieved his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Western Governors University, and his Master’s degree in Business Administration from University of Southern Indiana. He married Whitney (Weir) Cloin January 5, 2019 and shortly after was blessed with a little boy, Mako, in 2020. Drake enjoyed skateboarding, going fishing, ultra running, making art, and doing photography. He loved being outdoors, cooking, and being with family. Drake was loved by so many and will deeply be missed.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Darvin and Pam Cloin; and aunt, Dawn Sneed.
Drake’s legacy continues through his parents, Darvin and Shannon Cloin; wife, Whitney Cloin; son, Mako Anthony Cloin; sister, Sky Cloin; maternal grandparents, Jim and Joyce Wilson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will take place 5 PM Friday, January 5, 2024 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Donnie Truelock officiating. A visitation will be held from 3 PM until the service time at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Marine Sanctuary www.marinesanctuary.org, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
