Dustin R. Dedrick, 66, of Petersburg, IN passed away, December 9, 2023 at Memorial Hospital in Jasper. He was born August 4, 1957 in Oakland City, IN to the late Eldon Ray Dedrick and Lola Sue (Brock) Dedrick. Dustin was in the first graduating class of Pike Central High School in 1975. He worked as a cement truck driver at Elberfeld Concrete Block Company for many years. Dustin loved watching the news and never missed it. He like to watch NFL games, Nascar races, and IU basketball games. Dustin was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. He had one arm and could do anything anyone else could do, even become a lifeguard! Most importantly Dustin loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Dustin was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his children, Andrea Trusty, Ashley Tinsley, Cherie (Chris) Kopp, and Erik Dedrick; grandchildren, Madalynn, Rayna, Jackson, Paisley, Kaysen, Ava, Aleah, and Asher; brother, Darren Dedrick; and many friends.
The funeral service will be held at 10 am CST Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, IN, with Pastor Eddie Willis officiating. Interment will follow at Knights Chapel Cemetery in Oatsville, IN. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM CST until 8:00 pm CST Friday, December 15, 2023 at Corn- Colvin Funeral Home.
