Eddie West Davis

Eddie West Davis, 87, of Princeton, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at his home. He was born May 24, 1938 in Evansville to the late Basil Davis and Lonnie (Gipson) Davis and proudly served in the United States Air Force. Eddie worked at Alcoa in several departments, but retired from the finishing department. He was a loving and caring man who loved his family very much and he adored his beloved dog, Bo, who was very protective of Eddie. Eddie was dearly loved and will be missed.

Eddie is survived by his children, Shari McNeely (Donald) of Princeton and Danny Davis of Newburgh; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 3 sisters, Bettie Fritz, Shirley Strickland, and Joyce Young.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth Ann Davis; daughter, Cathy Taylor; and brothers, Gene, Coleman, Jerry, Walter, and Melvin.

No services will be held at this time.
