Edith (Evans) Britt

Edith Britt, 96, of Princeton, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at the Linda E. White Hospice in Evansville, IN. She was born on April 23, 1923 in Otwell, IN to Allen and Virba (Hayden) Evans. She was a lifetime resident of Princeton. She had worked in the office at Servel. She regularly attended Broadway Christian Church and was a member of the Gibson General Hospital Auxiliary since 1967.

She is survived by cousins; and special friends, Susan Greer, Bill & Susan Poyner, and Jodi Meyer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Franklin Britt in 1984; and brother, Prentice Evans in 1961.

Funeral service will be held at the graveside at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton with Rev. John Dunn officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation.
