Emma Elnora "Ellie" (Hill) Teeters

Emma Elnora “Ellie” Teeters, 85, of Princeton, passed away Friday, March 4, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville. She was born March 27, 1936 to the late John Hill and Alean (Burns) Hill. She worked at Mid-States Rubber Products in the finishing department for over 50 years and was a member of New Life Church of the Nazarene. Emma loved being a grandma and watching her grandkids play in sports. She also enjoyed working with her flowers. She had a green thumb and a knack for bowling. Her and her husband traveled together with their bowling league when they were able. Ellie was also a lifetime member of both the VFW Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was dearly loved and will be missed beyond measure.

Ellie is survived by her children, Barbara Hayes (Mike) of Princeton and Allen Auberry (Robin) of Princeton; grandchildren, Chris Auberry of Princeton, Cory Hollingsworth (Julie) of McCutchanville, Heather Malone (Sean) of Haubstadt, Shane Hayes (Kayla) of Princeton, Brent Wethington (Christy) of Francisco, and Matt Wethington (Kara) of Oakland City; great-grandchildren, Paige and Shawn Gibson, Brayden, Alley, Makade, Caleb, and Anna Malone, Charlie and Blakely Hayes, Garrett Hollingsworth, Tyler Wethington (Danielle), Lexi Wethington, Kingston Auberry, and Kaiden and Becky Wethington; several great-great-grandchildren, and sisters, Pat Bishop and Pam Helsley (Stan).

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles E. Teeters; and siblings, Robert, Larry, and Judy Ann Hill.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Interment will follow at Oddfellows Cemetery in Princeton. A visitation will be held from 4 until 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at the funeral home.
