Esther M. Hinds

Esther M. Hinds, age 76. passed away Friday, September 12, 2025 at the River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton.  She was born June 26, 1949 in Muncie, IN to Floyd and Nellie Peas. Esther had lived in Princeton most of her life and had been a cashier at the Pilot Truck Stop, and formerly a cashier at Maidlow's and Tom and Jerry’s Liquor Stores.

She is survived by her sons, Joe Hart (Lisa) of Princeton, and Chris Hart; step-son, Mike Hart (Linda) of Princeton; grandchildren, Rachael Anthis (Jacob), Breanna Hart (Dana), Dylan Hart and Haley Wilson (Blake); and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Oscar Hinds; four brothers and sisters.

There will be no visitation or service. The Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with the arrangement, and is honored to serve Esther’s family.
