Eugene Allen Pankake, 62, of Princeton, passed away Monday, October 8, 2018 at Good Samaritan Home in Oakland City. He was born June 2, 1956 in Oakland City and resided in Princeton for many years and graduated in 1974 from Princeton Community High School and then from University of Evansville, School of Engineering. He was a mechanical engineer for Alcoa for 15 years and then operated his own company, GAP Engineering in Newburgh, where he lived for over 35 years.
Eugene is survived by his mother, Janey L. Burch of Princeton; 2 sons, Chad Pankake and David Pankake both of the Nashville, TN area; a brother, Marvin Jeff Pankake of Evansville; a sister, Ashley Austgen of Cicero, IN; 5 grandchildren, Emory and Daniel Pankake and Kaelyn, Drew and Kenzie Pankake.
He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Eugene Pankake and a sister, Penny.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2018 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Brad Keenan officiating. Burial will follow at New Liberty Cemetery in Coe, IN. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday, October 11th at Colvin Funeral Home.
