Eva Gray Obituary

Eva M. Gray, 91, of Princeton, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025 at RiverOaks Health Campus in Princeton. She was born on March 3, 1934 in Princeton to the late Thomas Grubbs and Mary Evelyn (Weist) Decker. She worked for Potter and Brumfield, Mid-States Rubber, Snap-On, and Walmart. Eva enjoyed crocheting, oil painting, plants, and cats. She was a homemaker for several years and raised 6 children. She loved the sunshine and visiting Florida. She was loved and will be missed.  

She is survived by her daughters, Rosemary Kendle, Cindy Kuhn (Brian), Missy Johnson (Dennis), and Heather Kendle; daughters-in-law, Melinda Kendle, and Donna Kendle; grandchildren, Cassie Belt, Jennifer Anderson, Amanda Fawell, Emma Jackson, Aaron Westbrook, Stephen Trost, Brandon Trost, Chloe Pogue, Sophia Pogue, Richie Vardaman, Natalie Golla, Cliff Spangler, and Elizabeth Wells; many great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sons, Mark William Kendle and Dan W. Kendle.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Monday, December 29, 2025 at Colvin Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton. Visiting hours will be held from 10:00 AM until the service time Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be made to Heart-to-Heart Hospice located at 610 E Walnut St., Evansville, IN 47713. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
