Frances (McEllhiney) Luff, 90 of Francisco, passed away Monday, June 29, 2020 at Columbia Healthcare Center in Evansville. She was born September 10, 1929 in Princeton to the late Robert Royal McEllhiney and Della Marada (Bell) McEllhiney. She had resided in Gibson County her lifetime. Frances was a housewife and had worked at the former Potter & Brumfield in Princeton for many years. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Princeton and a former member of the Fairview Presbyterian Church, rural Princeton and also, was a member of Golden Fleece Chapter No. 176, Order of Eastern Star.
Frances is survived by 2 sons, Greg A. Luff of Boonville and Michael Luff (Lisa) of Petersburg; 4 grandchildren, Gregory Allen Luff II (Jennifer) of Chandler, Jonathan Paul Luff of Boonville, Nikki Lea (Luff) Anderson (Brett) of Algonquin, IL and Tyler Michael Luff of Evansville; 8 great grandchildren, Austin, Jenna, Addison, Lexi, Jack, Ava, Camden and Isabella; a sister-in-law, Clarice (Luff) Nau; 5 nieces and 1 nephew, Kay (McEllhiney) Parke, Janet (McEllhiney) Robinson, Janice Proctor, David Luff, Cindy (Nau) Cornelison and Kathy (Nau) Bishop.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Buthyl L. Luff on November 14, 2015; a brother, William Hayward McEllhiney; and a brother-in-law and his wife, Basil and Clara Luff.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. (CDT) Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Frank Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, rural Princeton. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. (CDT) Monday, July 6th and again from 12 until 1 p.m. (CDT) Tuesday at Colvin Funeral Home.
