Gary Larson, Sr. Obituary

Gary Richard Larson, Sr., 77, of Princeton, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. He was born February 15, 1945 in Princeton. He lived in Gibson County all of his life, graduated from Princeton High School Class of 1963 and worked as a sales representative for Hansen Corporation for 43 years. He was a member of Eagles Arie 361. He enjoyed playing golf, hunting, riding his motorcycle with friends and family and spending time with his son, grandchildren and great grandson. He was always helping family and friends with whatever job or task that needed to be done.

Gary is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judy (Wildt) Larson of Princeton, whom he married on November 20, 1964; son, Gary Richard Larson, Jr. (Tina) of Lawrenceburg, IN; grandchildren, Casey Bone (Jordan) and Alec Larson, both of Huntsville, AL, Marisa Larson of Lawrenceburg, Kyndall Hicks of Evansville and Kylie Hicks of Princeton; great grandson, Henry Oliver Larson of Lawrenceburg; brothers, David Larson (Jill) and Greg Wright (Megan) both of Princeton; sisters-in-law, Virginia Fisher of Evansville, Shirley Clark (James) of Washington, Vicki Elpers (Dan) of St. Wendel and JoEllen Martin (Earl) of Fort Branch; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Larson; mother, Kathryn (Dunning) Larson Wright; stepfather, Robert Wright; daughter, Geri Hicks; and sister, Cathy Doyle.

No services will be held. Colvin Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
