Gregory Scott Howard “Greg”, of Fort Branch and formerly of Oakland City, Indiana passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. He was born April 1, 1972 in Princeton, Indiana to Michael “Mike” & Judy (Cassiday) Howard of Oakland City. He was a member of Fair Haven Christ Fellowship, Cynthiana, IN and was a truck driver for years and currently was employed at Market Source as a sales rep at Walmart on the west side of Evansville.
Greg is survived by his fiancée, Lisa Geier of Mt. Carmel, IL; mother, Judy Howard of Oakland City; two sons, Jacoby DeMoss of Pekin, IL and Jersalem Howard of Princeton; 3 brothers, Michael “Mikie” (Ladonna) Howard of Francisco, Mark Allen Howard of Oakland City and Matthew (Amy) Howard of Oakland City; aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Preceded in death by his father, Michael “Mikie” Howard; grandparents, Clifford and Mildred Cassiday and James and Alice Howard; aunts; uncles; niece and two nephews.
Visitation will take place from 11 am to 2 pm (central time) on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, with a service to follow at 2 pm, with Pastor Wayne Nall officiating. Interment will follow at Montgomery Cemetery in Oakland City.
The family requests that masks be worn to the visitation and service.
