Gwendolyn “Aunt Sue” Jenkins, 68, of Princeton, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton. She was born October 14, 1951 in Princeton to the late James Arthur and Bertha Emma (Greene) Jenkins, and had resided back in Princeton since 1960 coming from Indianapolis. She retired in 1998 after working 12 years at Hansen Mfg. Co. in Princeton. She was a longtime member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Princeton. Sue was known for her “good morning” texts to everyone daily, and was a friend to everyone and will be missed by all who knew her.
“The Morning Sun” The morning sun brings about new hope for today. It is a promise that troubles are washed away with yesterday. Today is a brand new day so make the most of it. Live as if it were your last and enjoy every minute. For every single day is a gift from God up in heaven, waste it, and you’ll only be pleasing the devil. Good Morning! – poem by wishafriend.com
Sue is survived by 2 brothers, Perry L. Jenkins (Elizabeth) of Princeton and Michael L. Jenkins (Mary Jo) of Aurora, NC; and also, a host of nieces and nephews.
