Harold E. Doane

Harold E. Doane, 85, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Park Terrace Village in Evansville. He was born April 27, 1934 in Allendale, Illinois to the late Paul L. and Florence May (Conrad) Doane. He had resided in Evansville since 1964, moving from Princeton and formerly of Allendale. Harold was a veteran of the U. S. Army and was a retired mechanic for Advance Truck Lines. He was a member of Teamsters Local No. 215.

Harold is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carolyn S. Doane of Evansville; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Sharyl Doane of Evansville; a daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Jerry Spence of Newburgh; and a grandson, Josh Doane.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Doane; a sister, Cathy Stevens; and a grandson, Zach Spence.

There will be no visitation and burial will be private at Allendale Cemetery in Allendale, Illinois. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with arrangements and honored to serve the Doane family.
