Hazel Dill Obituary

Hazel L. Dill, 94, of Princeton, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville. She was born June 22, 1925 in Princeton and was a lifetime resident of Princeton. She was a homemaker and a member of Princeton Christian Church.

She is survived by her 7 children, Linda D. Riley, Tommy Dill (Tamara), Wayne Dill, Lavonda Dougan and Claudia Dill, all of Princeton, Marty Dill (Kathy) of Evansville, and Rodney Dill of Francisco; 2 sisters, Mary Crawley of Mt. Carmel, IL and Delie Hyneman of Princeton; 2 brothers, Bobby Hart of Princeton and Frankie Hart of Evansville; 19 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter.

Hazel is preceded in death by her father, Andrew Jackson Hart; mother, Elsie Elizabeth (Colbert) Hart Coomer; husband, Floyd B. “Tom” Dill in 1996 whom she married on May 25, 1942; son, Ronnie Dill; an infant son and daughter; 2 sisters; and 2 brothers.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2020 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Princeton with Dr. Gary Fair officiating. Please remember due to COVID-19 guidelines, social distancing measures should be followed.
