Hazel F. (Langdon) Rhone

Hazel (Langdon) Rhone, 95, of Patoka, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at BridgePointe Health Campus in Vincennes. She was born on September 30, 1925 in Bruceville to Edward and Audrey (Kimberlin) Langdon. She had resided in Patoka since 1952 moving from South Bend. She was a homemaker and enjoyed handwork, cross-stitch and embroidery.

Hazel is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Sloan of Vincennes; grandson, Dan Sloan of Westfield; great grandchildren, Dalton, Audra & Will Sloan; brother, Ron Langdon; and sister, Barbara Smith (Bob), whom she was especially close to.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard “Dick” Rhone in 2009; brothers, Paul & Don Langdon; and sisters Doris Goad and Bonnie Flinn.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Decker Cemetery in Patoka with burial following. There will be no public visitation. Colvin Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
