James Walker Obituary

James Clark Walker, 81, of Patoka, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at his home. He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to James Emery Walker and Thelma Grace (Morrow) Walker on February 24, 1941. He last worked as a security guard for Gibson Generating Station now known as Duke Energy. He worked in New Jersey then transferred to this area as a supervisor at Emerson Radio. He loved to fish and enjoyed watching sports, especially IU Basketball, NY Yankees, and MN Vikings. James was a big movie buff but enjoyed watching westerns the most. He loved his family dearly and his dog, Corkie.

James is survived by his mother, Thelma Walker; wife of 29 years, Judy (Minarik) Walker; daughter, Genna Maria Walker; step-children, Bob Sullivan (Shelli), Christine Hall (Forrest), Roger Sullivan, and Andrew Head; step-grandchildren, Mackenzie Sullivan, Holly Sullivan, Taylor Sullivan, Brittany Sullivan, and Hanah Hall; step-great-grandchildren, Greysyn, Brooke, Landon, Maverick, and Ella; and siblings, Jeff Walker (Lynn) and Marilyn Carol Tidona.  

He was preceded in death by his father; daughter, Penelope; step-son, Steven Sullivan; and siblings, Donald, Sandra, Pamela, and Kim.

A memorial celebration of life will be held at 6:00 PM Friday, September 23, 2022 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 until 6 at the funeral home Friday.
