Jane Carrington Obituary

Jane Carrington, 69, of Oakland City, passed away Monday, September 26, 2022 at Good Samaritan Home and Rehabilitative Center in Oakland City. She was born in Vincennes to the late Herman Edward McPheter and Dorothy Jeanette (Allen) McPheter. Memories of Jane will be treasured and her presence will be missed beyond measure.

Jane is survived by her son, Brad Carrington and wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Lisa Carrington; grandchildren, Ryan Carrington and Rachel Carrington; sister, Linda Belk; and nieces and nephews, Jimmy Mock, Eddie Wilson, Raquel Simon, and Jana Traxler.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Terry Carrington in 2016; an infant son, Michael Lee Carrington; brothers, John Eugene McPheter and Robert Wayne McPheter; and sisters, Dorothy Lyman and Barbara Jean McPheter.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
