Janet Ann (Stuckey) Cobb, 78, of Winslow, formerly of Oakland City, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2026. She was born on April 30, 1948 in Mackey to the late Zeness Stuckey and Ruth (Rainey) Stuckey. She married Dennis Cobb and were blessed with 26 years together. Along with her husband, she owned and operated Cobb Transport Trucking Company. Janet loved crafting and painting, especially miniatures, collecting knickknacks and flowers. One of her greatest joys was traveling the United States with her husband and other half. She was dearly loved and will be missed.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Tina Hunt and husband, Rodney of Winslow; son, Donald Whitler and significant other, Sarah of Muskegon, Michigan; grandchildren, Cara Hoffman, Chance McCoy Cobb, Tiara Grove, Christylyn Hunt, Autumn Whitler, Janet Whitler (Connor Brown), and Jason Whitler; and great-grandchildren, Kinleigh and Kinzee Owen, Margo and Jameson Brown, and Elizabeth, Alexandra, and Dawson Hoffman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and several siblings.
A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, July 17, 2026 at 9:30 AM (CST) at Albright Cemetery in Mackey. Visiting hours will be held from 3 until 6 PM (CST)Thursday at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City.
