Jarvis Lee Francis, 80, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2025 at Transcendent Health Care of Owensville. He was born June 6, 1944 in Kansas City Missouri to the late George A. Francis and Ruby L. (Dalton) Francis. Jarvis worked in the games section at a traveling carnival for many years. He met his wife, Gloria (Jones) Francis, while working at the carnival. They married May 5, 1993 and were blessed with nearly 32 years of marriage before his passing. Jarvis later worked at GCARC for 20+ years before retiring. He liked spending his time outside mowing lawns. Jarvis enjoyed being social with friends and strangers. He will be remembered as a great artist and jokester.
Jarvis was preceded in death by his parents and 1 infant child.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Francis; 3 children; 6 grandchildren; and 2 brothers.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2025 at the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton with Pastor Donnie Truelock officiating.
