Jean Eads

Jean Eads, 97, of Princeton, IN went to be with the Lord Sunday, November 6, 2022. She was born in Princeton, IN September 27, 1925 to the late Jesse and Clara Nossett. Jean retired from the family business, Eads Cleaners in 1985. She was a member of Gibson County Homemakers, a camping club, and bowling league. Jean enjoyed singing in the church choir. She will be remembered as a full time homemaker who also worked hard to run the family business with her husband of 67 years. Jean was a member of Hillside United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe G. Eads; 11 siblings; and grandson-in-law, Scott Otake.

Jean is survived by her children Linda (Peter) Stewart of Blackfoot, ID, Donna (Jim)Williams of Princeton, IN, and Judy (John) Alderson of Ocala, FL; grandchildren, Andrew (Amy) Stewart, Leslie (Tony) Westen, Jaime (Mark) Kast, and Brittney (Ryan) Rodgers; great-grandchildren, Jocelyn, Brianna, Abigail, Emma, Karlee, Dawson, Zach, and Aspen; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, IN. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9 AM until service time. Interment will be at Columbia White Church Cemetery.
