Jeanine L. “Ninie” Moody, 77, of Princeton passed away Friday, October 31, 2025 at the Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville. She was born in Muncie, IN. July 19, 1948 to Clarence and Emma (Hitchen) Gill.
Ninie had lived in Princeton since 1979 moving here from Muncie. She has been a School Bus Driver for the North Gibson School Corporation, where she worked for nine years. She previously worked for PIC a contractor at Toyota, and had operated a child daycare in her home for many years. Ninie was a member of the Conduit Assembly of God Church in Vincennes, where she was very active in the church activities.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Myron Gill; brother-in-laws, Bill Brenner and Alex Hutton; and parent-in-laws, Willis and Violet Moody.
Ninie is survived by her husband of 60 years, Danny L. Moody of Princeton; children, Troy Moody of Mt. Olympus, Holly Hadra (Steve) of Vincennes, and Neil Moody (Gretchen) of Princeton; sister, Joretta Hutton of Moore, OK; sister-in-law, Carolyn Gill of Pittsboro, IN; grandchildren, Heather Becht, Meghan Powers, Jacob Moody, Peyton Williams (Tyler), Hunter Tapley, Jennifer Hadra, Meghan Deck, Reuben Stence (Erica), Courtney Hadra, Madison Smith (Wes), Kristen Hadra, Bree Sagers (Alex), Brook Moody, and Malakye Moody; 12 great-grandchildren; and special friends; Bill and Jackie Slater.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday November 6, 2025 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton will Rev. Glyn Pfohl officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
