Jeffrey “Jeff” Catt, 70, of Princeton, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2026 at his home. He was born September 17, 1955 to Joe and Treva (Cundiff) Catt in Princeton. He went to college for welding at Oakland City University then worked at the power plant as a heavy equipment operator, after retirement he worked for Larry Rexing on the farm. Jeff was a Fair Board Member for 18 years and an avid NASCAR and Dirt Track fan. He loved to watch his grandkids and was heavily involved in their activities. He also enjoyed farming, mowing, and taking care of the animals on the farm.
Jeff is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kim Catt of Princeton; son; T. J. Catt (Nicole) of Haubstadt; daughter, Kassidy Brown (Donald) of Princeton; grandchildren, Addison Catt, McKinley Catt, Abby Brown, and Mitchell Brown; sister; Jan Mason (Tim) of Princeton, and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life will be held for Jeff at 10:00 AM Monday, July 20, 2026 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton officiated by Pastor Donnie Truelock. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, July 19 from 4 until 7:00 PM and again Monday from 9 until the time of service at the funeral home.
