Jerilou Harbison, 90, of Princeton, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022 at RiverOaks Health Campus in Princeton. She was born September 8, 1931 in Princeton to the late Roscoe and Vida (Welton) Willis. She was a lifetime resident of Princeton and retired in 2006 from the North Gibson School Corporation after 33 ½ years and prior to that she had worked at the former Potter & Brumfield Mfg. Co. She was a member of Enon General Baptist Church and she loved to sew, cook and bake.
Jerilou is survived by 3 daughters, Terri McGraw (Dennis), Leah Fouts (Aaron) and Rachel Matthews (Shane) all of Princeton; 5 grandchildren, Elizabeth Hutchinson (Cory), Derek McGraw (Beth), Joshua Fouts, Tori Matthews and Braden Matthews; 4 great grandchildren, Karsyn and Koen McGraw and Markis and Alexandra Hutchinson; and also 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother, Harry Porter Willis; an infant son, Gregory Lane Harbison; and her husband of 69 years, Leonard M. Harbison on November 29, 2021, they were married on July 19, 1952.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Tammy Scheller and Rev. David Depoister officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from noon until the hour of service at the funeral home on Wednesday.
