Jetta J. Cundiff, 65, of Princeton, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville. She was born in Princeton on February 26, 1956, graduated from Princeton Community High School in 1974 and lived here her entire lifetime.
Jetta was an excellent bowler and bowled for many years and won 1st place at a state competition. She was a former teacher’s aide with the Head Start program. She loved her children and grandchildren deeply, was a friend to many and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Jetta is survived by her mother, Joretta (Stapleton) Hart of Princeton; a son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Lisa Cundiff of Otwell; a daughter and son-in-law, Kristen and Nick Dicus of Princeton; 5 grandchildren, Cameron and Colton Cundiff, Kaylie and Chloe Dicus, and Isaac Fair; a brother and sister-in-law, John D. and Tammy Hart of Huntsville, AL; a niece, Amanda Stiles; a nephew, Jonathan Hart; and also, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Arlis and Lavada Cundiff of Princeton.
Her father, John Earl Hart in 1996 and her husband, Dan Cundiff in 2011 preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be held at 10 am Friday, July 16, 2021 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 4 pm until 8 pm Thursday, July 15th at Colvin Funeral Home and again from 9 am until the hour of service Friday.
