Obituary

Jimmie Riley, 79, of Evansville, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville. He was born September 26, 1941 to the late Donald Riley and Beulah (Pavey) Whitehead and was born and raised in the Princeton area. He moved to New Mexico when his father was working in the pot ash mines and moved back to the area in the 1960’s. Jimmy worked as a coal miner for over 30 years and will be greatly missed.

Jimmie is survived by his wife, Connie Riley; children, Cody Riley (Susan), Deena Riley, Michael Riley (Jenna), and Nate Riley; grandchildren, Hunter, Chase, Evan, Cailin, Heaven, Jadon, and Makenna; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Karen, Rita, Darla, Ann, Joe, and Dee; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; mother; step-father, “Dick” Richard Whitehead; and brothers, Rick Whitehead and Larry Whitehead.

No services will be held at this time.
