John Miskell

John Miskell, 65, of Princeton, IN passed away Monday, August 17, 2026. He was born December 8, 1960 in Princeton to Roscoe Miskell and Henrietta (Mounts) Bassett. John worked at Mid-State Rubber as a Tubing Supervisor for 46 years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and tinkering on cars. John was a simple and down-to-earth man. He is truly loved and will be deeply missed.

John was preceded in death by his father, Roscoe Miskell and brother, Jimmy Lee Miskell.

He is survived by his mother, Henrietta Bassett; children, Roscoe (John) Miskell, Cainon Miskell, Alayna Miskell (Nolan Schapker), and Ryan Miskell; fiancé of 20+ years, Kim Barrett; and siblings, Nick (Reba) Miskell, Mary Ann Angle, and Janet (Ricky) Cross.

A visitation will be held 12pm-2pm Sunday, August 23, 2026 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, IN.

Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
