John Robb, 76 of Hazleton passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Deaconess Gibson Hospital in Princeton. He was born February 6, 1945 in Hazleton, IN to Orvel and Eva Robb.
He had lived in Hazleton all of his life. He retired from Siemans, formerly Potter and Brumfield where he worked from 1963 to 1994, as a Production Manager. John enjoyed working on cars, NASCAR stock car racing and NHRA drag racing. He coached youth sports, baseball and basketball. He was quite fond of his cats which he enjoyed having around.
John is survived by his son, Jon Robb (Bobbi) of Robards, KY; 4 grandchildren, Clayton Berry (Ashlynne), Kaitlyn Robb, Casey Berry and Andrew Robb; 2 great grandchildren, Casen and Kinley Berry; sister, Sue Frederick of Hazleton; 2 brothers, Don Robb (Lana) of Hazleton; and Jay Robb of Petersburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Suetta Robb in 2011; brothers, Lee Stiles, Tom, Tim, Dan, Orvil and James Robb; and sisters, Margaret Hopkins, Betty Sanders and Rena Deffendall.
Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday April 15, 2021 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Donnie Truelock officiating. Burial will follow in the Hazleton Community Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service time Thursday at the funeral home. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, social distancing is required and masks are recommended.
