Judith Ann Walker, 73, of Patoka, IN went home to the Lord December 15, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. She was born June 29, 1950 in Chicago, IL to the late Joseph and Dolly (Kajer) Minarik. Judy graduated from Rochester Community High School in 1969. She worked for the Dream Motel in Patoka as a waitress and bartender for 11+ years. Judy took a position with Emerson Radio where she was a supervisor for 15 years until they closed. Most recently she retired from Duke Energy after 20 years as powerplant security. Judy was a member of Patoka Presbyterian Church. She was a past 4-H Leader while her children were growing up. Judy enjoyed crafting, such as painting and crocheting. She was known as a great baker and cook. Judy liked tending to her garden and growing beautiful flowers. She will be mostly remembered as being a loving mother, grandmother, and wife that lived for putting a smile on everyone’s face. Judy is loved by many and will deeply be missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Dolly (Kajer) Minarik; son, Steven Sullivan; and spouses, Everett Roush and James Clark Walker.
Judy is survived by her children; Bob (Shelli) Sullivan, Christine (Forest) Hall, and Roger Sullivan; grandchildren, Mackenzie (Cody Smith) Sullivan, Holly Sullivan, Taylor (Andrew Choy) Sullivan, Brittany (Jesse) Tryon, Hannah (Quaid West) Hall, and Alexis Lamey; great-grandchildren, Greysyn, Brooklyn, Landon, Maverick, Ella, Maya, and Lucas; siblings, Cynthia (Wayne) Taylor and Larry Minarik; ex-spouse, Larry S. Sullivan.
A funeral will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will follow at Decker Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 at the funeral home Tuesday.
For those who wish, memorial contributions may be given to the Gibson County Animal Services or American Cancer Society, envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Condolences can be given at www.colvinfuneralhome.com. Colvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the Walker family.
