Julie Ann Meadows, 60, of Evansville, IN passed away September 12, 2023 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. She was born in Princeton, IN on November 8, 1962 to the late Paul Edwin Meadows and Loretta Jeane (Tipton) Meadow. Julie graduated from Princeton High School in 1981 then Indiana State University Evansville, now known as University of Southern Indiana, in 1985 with her BA. She worked for the Division of Family Service as a State Eligibility Consultant for 32 years. She married her true love, Joe Kendall, August 3, 2004. Julie enjoyed reading, playing board games, watching old movies, and British Comedy. She loved traveling with her husband, some of their favorite spots include Maui, The Grand Canyon, the SF Bay Area and wine country, Pigeon Forge, and especially where they could be on a beach with their feet in the sand. Julie was a true Parrot Head, enjoying good music and a margarita when possible. She will be remembered as a loving sister, aunt, and wife. Julie is already deeply missed by so many.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Rev. Larry Meadows, Cheri Pendleton, Gerry Susan Caudill, and Barry Meadows.
Julie is survived by her husband, Joe Kendall; step-children, Maggie (Peter) Arabia and Catie (Chad) Diefenbaugh; siblings, Kerry Meadows, Gary (Jan) Meadows, Terry Meadows, Mary (David) Key, and Amy Fugate; brother-in-law, Bob Pendleton; sister-in-law, Kay Kendall (Glenn Bodison); and grandchildren, Emily, Sameul, Cody, and William.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 6:30 P.M. at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Visitation will be held Thursday at 4:30 P.M. until the service time.
