Karen Morgan Obituary

Karen Sue Morgan, 80, of Princeton, IN passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025 at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born March 10, 1945 in Princeton, IN to the late Harold Pritchett and Nancy (Hardiman) Pritchett. Karen retired from UMWA after 20+ years of being a coal miner. She was a member of the UMWA retirement group and Hillside United Methodist Church. Karen had a passion for creating silk arrangements and selling them at craft shows.  In younger years she enjoyed playing on a bowling league. Most importantly, Karen loved spending time with her family whenever she could. She is deeply loved by many and will be missed dearly.

Karen was preceded in death by per parents; siblings, Robert Pritchett, Richard Pritchett, Beverly Pritchett, Barry (Sonya) Pritchett; and niece, Charletta Pritchett.

She is survived by her children, Amy Hardiman, Jamie Morgan, Scott Hardiman; sister, Sheila Pritchett; sister-in-law, Tamara Pritchett; grandchildren, Marques Hardiman, Jonathon Hardiman, Curtis (Amy) Burns, and Leteshia Padgett; great-grandchildren, Jayveon Watson, Jylan Watson, Jozlynn Watson, Journey Smith, Wesley Burns, Natalie Burns, Terrence Burns, Carter Burns, and Isiah Burns; honorary sister, Katie Floyd; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held 1 PM Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Colvin Funeral Home with Rev. James Wilkerson officiating and burial to follow at Sand Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 AM Sunday until the service time at the funeral.
