Kenneth Lendle Hall, 84, of Winslow was called home Saturday, January 18, 2025. He was born February 17, 1940 in Winslow, IN to the late William S. Hall Sr. and Anna (Hatfield) Hall. Kenneth graduated from Winslow High School in 1960 then completed an associate’s degree from Oakland City College. He married the love of his life, Clarissa Hope Hall, February 18, 1961 and was blessed with almost 64 years of marriage. Kenneth worked at Jasper Rubber Company as a mixing mill operator for 42 years before retiring. He was a previous Deacon at Winslow General Baptist Church and Winslow Church of the Nazarene. Kenneth also served as an Associate pastor for Washington Church of the Nazarene and Iva Union Church. He enjoyed playing the guitar for the Gadabouts at nursing homes, churches, and benefits. Kenneth liked spending time in his shop woodworking making beautiful pieces. He also showed his artistic abilities by making hand-painted signage for ballfields, buses, fire trucks, and police cars. Kenneth most importantly loved spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a wise, loving, caring, and dependable man that would always come if you needed him. Kenneth is loved by many and will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Barbara Anne Hall; and siblings, William Hall Jr., Robert Hall, Clara Wallace, and Earl Hall.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, C. Hope Hall; children, Kenneth Lavan (Amy) Hall, Hope (Kevin) Quackenbush, Stephen (Jennifer) Hall, and Clenneth “Clint” (Angie) Hall; grandchildren, Kenneth Robert Hall, William Hall, Amanda Nelson, Zachary Hopper, Kaleb Hall, Dr. Tory Hall, Austin Hall, Josie Hall, and Danielle Hall; step-grandchildren, Teala Raetz, Samantha Striegel, and Lee Quackenbush; great-grandchildren, Kendrick, Eaton, Brianna, Evarissa, and Ayzzen; step-great-grandchildren, Grayson, Braxton, Ensley, Kaylee, Tyson, and Jordan; siblings, Charles (Kay) Hall, Daniel Hall, and Ethel (Richard) Comer; and special nieces, Marla and Carla.
A Memorial service will be held at 12:30 pm CST Friday, January 24, 2025 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City with Richard Comer officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 11:30 AM CST until service time at the funeral home. Kenneth will be laid to rest privately at Sunset Cemetery in Winslow.
